A rare set of six Vienna hexafoil teabowls and saucers, circa 1745-50

Each decorated with alternating panels of flowering plants and gilt and iron-red foliage and flowers, the saucers with gilt-edged barbed rims and a chrysanthemum motif within a band of iron-red whorls to the centre, the teabowls with indented sides, similarly decorated with a similar flower motif inside and the border around the footrim, the saucers: 14.5cm across; the teabowls: 5.5cm high approx., shield marks in underglaze-blue, impressed o and incised Z (some minor wear to enamels and gilt rims, one saucer with small flat rim chip to underside) (12)
