A German porcelain cane handle in the shape of a pug, late 19th century

After the 18th century Meissen model, painted with Kauffahrtei scenes within gilt scrollwork cartouches surrounded by purple scrollwork, the pug painted in shades of black and grey with a pink and gilt collar, mounted on an ebonised shaft with metal ferrule, the handle: 12.5cm wide; the cane: 90.5cm long
