A Meissen circular stand, circa 1725-30

Painted with a scene depicting Turkish figures in a river landscape, within a gilt Baroque scrollwork cartouche embellished with Böttger lustre and edged with iron-red and purple scrollwork, gilt scroll- and strapwork border to rim, the reverse with three sprigs of indianische Blumen, 19.3cm diam., crossed swords mark in blue enamel, gilt numeral 15. (1cm flat chip to bottom edge of rim, enamels slightly worn, gilding flaking slightly on rim)
