A set of four George III silver covered sauce tureens,

Thomas Robins, London 1810
Oval bellied form with ovolo rims, leaf embellished side handles, on four shell and leaf capped feet, fur embellishments terminating on paw feet, the lift-off covers with gadroon band, the domed centred with a leaf-capped scroll loop handle over a wavy ground, each tureen and cover stamped with numbers 1 to 4, length handle to handle 22cm, weight 137.5oz. (4)
