A fine .450/.455 'W.G. Target Model' revolver by Webley, no. 21952

Retaining virtually full blued finish, the barrel with sighting-rib stamped 'P. Webley, London & Birmingham' with high blade-foresight, the left side of the cylinder-strap stamped '"WG Target Model', the underside engraved 'Presented to Helen Drayton For Highest Possible Score at 12 Paces, Sept. 5, 1913', the left side of the frame stamped Webley Patents and with the maker's "Winged Bullet" trademark, the butt with chequered two-piece wooden grips and lanyard-loop

This is a very late example of a W.G. Target revolver. The highest recorded serial number for a W.G. Target is 22126 (Foddering Collection).

This revolver may be held under both categories of s.7 Heritage Pistols in the U.K.
