HYT core design element uses liquid-based indicators to express time. Introduced in 2012, the HYT H1 model was the first-ever timepiece to use liquid-based indicator to express time. This was inspired by the Egyptian Pharaohs' water clock. The fluid mechanism is made possible by the two reservoirs at 6'o clock. One compresses the liquid whilst the other expands it. The hour is displayed by the lines where the green liquid meet whilst a dial positioned at 12 o'clock indicates the minutes. This highly exotic and innovative timepiece became the staple design of an entire collection of fluid-display wristwatches. The present example is in excellent condition accompanied with original travel case and warranty certificate.
