The annual calendar chronograph is one of the most attractive yet rarest combinations in the industry. Patek Philippe launched the Ref. 5960P at Baselworld 2006, it was the first annual calendar chronograph wristwatch in the world. Then in 2015, the second generation of Chronograph Annual Calendar was born. The Ref. 5905P, borrowing traits from another popular model 5205 such as dauphine hands and square pushers, it provided a more elegant model than its predecessor. However, the Ref. 5905 was only available in rose gold with a chocolate dial or in platinum with a blue or black dial until a new configuration was released in 2021. The new Ref. 5905/1A comes in a surprisingly sporty look with a steel case, a steel bracelet and an olive green dial. Modern and sleek, it brought a drastically different choice from other members in the 5905 family.

Since it was only launched in October last year, the Ref. 5905/1A, just a handful of this model have been produced, let alone on the auction market. The present watch is the first Ref. 5905/1A ever appears in auction. Offered in like-new condition and completed with all the original accessories and Certificate of Origin. Combining its rarity, the appealing colour, and the most popular material, it is undoubtedly one of the most desirable model. A true trophy in the world of Patek Philippe.
