AN INSIDE-PAINTED CRYSTAL 'CHILDREN AT PLAY' SNUFF BOTTLE
Ye Zhongsan, cyclically dated to the Dingsi Year, corresponding to 1917 and of the period
Finely painted on both sides with boys at play, the main side with two boys riding on the backs of larger children, with calligraphic inscription, signature and seal of the artist, the other side with boys playing with fighting crickets in circular boxes, box. 7.2cm (2 7/8in) high. (2).

鼻烟壺扁瓶形，腹部兩面均繪嬰戲圖，其中一面的左上方署款「丁巳杏月，葉仲三作」（丁巳為1917年）、印，帶碧璽蓋。
葉仲三，北京人（1869-1945），是晚清著名的内畫鼻烟壺大師。他善長用濃重的色彩描繪紋飾，内畫題材多取自古典名著，以雅俗共賞著稱於世。
