Qianlong four-character mark and of the period
Of flattened ovoid form with a flat lip and oval foot rim, the milky white glass ground with a delicate blue overlay of two striding five-clawed dragons with finely incised scales above waves, stopper, box. 7.5cm (3in) high. (2).

See a very similar blue overlay opaque white glass snuff bottle with dragons, mid Qing dynasty, illustrated in The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum: Snuff Bottles, Hong Kong, 2003, p.40, no.57.Compare also with a similar example, in the Hedda and Lutz Franz Collection, which is illustrated in Chinese Art from the Hedda and Lutz Franz Collection Glass, Hong Kong, 2011, vol.2, no.1149.
鼻烟壺扁壺形，白地套藍色玻璃。壺體通景飾「二龍戲珠」紋，一條龍輾轉騰躍於翻滾的水面上，另一條龍頭部露出水面，身體潛入水中，正在相互追逐戲珠，底陰刻「乾隆年製」楷書款，帶銅鎏金雕花蓋。參考一件清宮舊藏白套藍玻璃龍戲珠紋鼻烟壺，見《故宮博物院藏文物珍品全集：鼻烟壺》，北京，2003年，圖版57號。 另可參考Hedda Franz伉儷收藏一件非常類似之鼻煙壺，惟底款不同，見《Chinese Art from the Hedda and Lutz Franz Collection Glass》，香港，2011年，卷2，編號1149。
