Compare with a very similar pale green jade wristrest, Qing dynasty, with a design of bamboo and dragonfly, in the Qing Court Collection, illustrated in the Compendium of Collections in the Palace Museum: Jade, 9, Beijing, 2011, p.55, no.38. See also a similar pale green jade 'bamboo' wrist rest, circa 1800, which was sold at Sotheby's London, 4 November 2009, lot 9.
