A COPPER-RED-GLAZED PEAR-SHAPED VASE, YUHUCHUNPING
Qianlong seal mark and of the period
Elegantly potted rising from a spreading foot to a tall waisted neck and everted rim, the exterior richly applied with a dark copper-red glaze, the interior and the base left white, the base inscribed with the six-character seal mark in underglaze blue.

A similar copper-red glazed vase, Qianlong seal mark and of the period, in the Nanjing Museum, is illustrated in The Official Kiln Porcelain of the Chinese Qing Dynasty, Shanghai, 2003, pl.346. Another similar vase, Qianlong seal mark and of the period, is published in the Illustrated Catalogue of Tokyo National Museum: Chinese Ceramics, vol.II, Tokyo, 1990, pl.697. Another similar vase, Qianlong seal mark and of the period, from the Hellebronth and Bernheimer collections, was included in the exhibition, Chinesische Keramik: Museum für Ostasiatische Kunst, Cologne, 1988, no.110.
Compare with a similar copper-red-glazed vase, Qianlong seal mark and of the period, which was sold at Sotheby's New York, 15 September 2015, lot 85. Another similar copper-red-glazed vase, Qianlong seal mark and of the period, was sold at Christie's New York, 24 March 2011, lot 1144.
瓷胎，小撇口，短頸，斜肩，垂腹，矮圈足。器內施白釉，器表施霁紅釉，施釉均勻，釉面平滑。足緣露胎，胎質緻密呈白色。底有白地青花書「大清乾隆年製」三行篆款。
參考一件南京博物院藏霁紅釉玉壺春瓶，「大清乾隆年製」六字篆書款，見《宮廷珍藏中國清代官窯瓷器》，上海，2003年，圖版346；另可比較一件近例，著錄於《中國古陶磁：東京國立博物館》，第二冊，東京，1990年，編號697；第三件類似的玉壺春瓶見展覽圖錄，《Chinesische Keramik: Museum für Ostasiatische Kunst》，科隆，1988年，編號110。
