A RARE BROWN LACQUER 'EAR CUP'
Western Han Dynasty
Of elliptical form, delicately constructed with deep rounded sides supported on a slightly raised oval base, set with a pair of rounded 'ear'-shaped handles set at a slight angle, the delicate wood body covered with a lustrous pale brown lacquer, box. 17.2cm (6 3/4in) long.

木胎，通體髹褐黑漆，胎體輕薄，杯心漆色淡薄，内外腹壁稠厚處漆色較深。耳杯呈橢圓形，口微斂，兩側新月形耳微翹，弧壁，平底。
