From its inception in 1874, Piaget established its foundation in precision handcrafted clock movements for watchmaking companies. Today, with nearly 150 years of technical and aesthetic mastery, Piaget has become known for its fully integrated watchmaking and jewellery expertise. One of the cornerstones of Piagets repertoire is the Protocole collection.
The Protocole is defined by a rectangular case with canted corners, presenting an elegant simple profile. The current lot is an exceptional version of the Protocole with diamond set bracelet, dial and bezel. Each of the 370 precious stones has been discerningly selected for its colour, purity and cut creating a truly remarkable timepiece.
This watch also features a calibre 430P which is a direct descendent of the celebrated ultra thin Piaget calibre 9P. The 430P is also ultra thin and measures just 2.1mm thick and has approximate power reserve of 43 hours. This watch really does demonstrate how Piaget can make the inside just as interesting as the outside.
