Jack Heuer's interest in racing and understanding of the exposure created by sports timing lead Heuer-Leonidas into the highly competitive and ever evolving sports world. In 1974 Heuer became the timer for all Ferrari's Formula One endeavors having created the groundbreaking recognition system ACIT. They were invited by Formula One to be the timer for the races but turned it down as it came with a huge expense which had to be born by Heuer. However, in 1992 they became the official timer and remained so for 12 years.
The present lot is a rare chance to own a piece of sports timing history, boxed and ready to go to its next location!
Please note that this lot has been withdrawn.
