In 1968 Jo 'Seppi' Siffert won both 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring in a Porsche 907 firmly securing his place in motor racing history. Jack Heuer made a sponsorship deal with the Swiss sportscar and Formula 1 ace and in 1969 he wore a white dial Autavia on his wrist.
The automatic Autavia screw-back case was reworked and gained new enlarged housings for better integration of the chronograph pushers. On this white 'Siffert' dial the 30 minute and 12 hour sub dials are black and the hour registers which are printed 1-12 indicate the final dial variation until production ceased in the mid 70s.
This watch features exceptional rare white 'Albino Hands' with characteristic blue tips.
