JUSTICE STEVENS PRESENTATION COPY TO RUTH BADER GINSBURG.

STEVENS, JOHN PAUL. The Making of a Justice: Reflections on My First 94 Years. New York: Little Brown and Company, 2019.
Hardcover, dust jacket.

RUTH BADER GINSBURG'S PRESENTATION COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION OF JUSTICE STEVENS' REFLECTIONS, with publisher's card laid-in. John Paul Stevens was nominated to the Supreme Court by Gerald Ford in 1975, retiring in 2010. This is the third book published in his retirement, and it was released just two months before his death. Stevens devotes a chapter to each of his 34 years on the court, and names what he believes are the three biggest mistakes the court made during his tenure: Bush v. Gore, Citizens United and the court's finding of an individual right to bear arms.
