PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED ON THE FRONT COVER, "To Eileen D. Curtis, Much appreciation for the Turandot note, Ruth Bader Ginsburg." The "Founders Day Tribute" was delivered by Ginsburg April 8, 1996 at the Washington College of Law as a brief history of women serving in the courts. In its conclusion, she quotes her own daughter, responding to her mother's appointment to the Supreme Court, only the second women at the time: "It's fine but it will be finer still when there are so many women in every post and place where decisions are made that no one counts any more."
