A good and rare late 18th century mahogany wall timepiece with 7.5inch dial

Bouffler, London
The signed silvered 7.5 inch circular dial with single track and Arabic quarters framing the upright Roman numerals, with pierced blued steel hands, under a domed glass in a cast locking bezel surrounded by a moulded frame, on a salt-box back (with side and bottom doors) the extended shaped backboard with hanging aperture. The tapering plates united by four slender knopped pillars, with gut fusee to the verge escapement and short pendulum (with securing hook). Running, together with a later winding key. 26cms (10.25ins) diameter
