A Meissen part service, circa 1755

Of quatrelobe form, finely painted with landscape vignettes depicting three putti at play and scattered flowers, the rims with gilt borders of entwined lines enclosing oval trellis panels, the covers with flower finials, comprising:
a silver-mounted oval tea urn and cover on three gilt-edged scroll feet entwined with flowering branches and mounted with a tap;
a silver-mounted tea cannister and cover;
a sugar bowl and cover;
a teacup and saucer, the tea urn: 16.5cm high, gilt numeral 4. to all crossed swords marks in blue and underglaze-blue (8)
