A Meissen chocolate pot and cover, circa 1760

Painted with flower sprays and scattered flower sprigs, gilt-edged rims, the cover applied with a rosebud finial and attached via a metal chain to a gilt metal mount connecting the wooden handle to the porcelain, 13cm high, crossed swords mark in blue (restoration to finial) (2)
