A rare Meissen armorial teabowl and saucer, circa 1726

Each with a large coat of arms including two rampant lions holding a wreath between two crowns on a blue ground flanked by palm fronds, the reverse of the teabowl with detailed chinoiserie scenes, the rims with gilt bands reserved with small cartouches enclosing puce chinoiserie scenes, the saucer: 12.5cm diam.; the teabowl: 4.5cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue (saucer restored in several places) (2)
