A Sèvres plate with the arms of the Barton family, circa 1814, together with a replacement plate

Decorated with the arms of the Barton family and inscribed with their motto 'FIDE ET FORTITUDINE', the edge of the well with gilt border, the yellow-ground rim embellished with foliate leaf border, the replacement plate probably Paris porcelain, 23.7cm diam., crowned eagle and Manufacture Impériale/SEVRES stencilled in iron-red (minor rubbing to gilding) (2)
