Two Sèvres plates from the Comte de Ségur service, dated 1812

Each decorated with a pale yellow ground border painted with stylised leaf bands between purple and green scroll motifs, the well with a similar circular motif in the centre surrounded by a gilt border of palmettes and scrolls, the edge of the well with a formal gilt border, 23.8cm diam., M. Imp.le/de Sevres/1812 stencilled in red, gilt marks, incised oz and DL and B. in brown to one, incised L and 10 and P. in iron-red to the other (minor wear) (2)
