A Sèvres hard-paste porcelain black-ground plate (assiette unie), circa 1802

The well painted with a wreath of flowers and fruit outlined in gilding, the black-ground gilt-edged rim decorated with three Chinoiserie vignettes in gilding and platinum, 24.5cm diam., Sevres/X in iron-red, (restored section to rim)
