A Capodimonte figure of a man holding a box, circa 1750-55

Modelled by Giuseppe Gricci, wearing a black hat, a white jacket and manganese waistcoat, both with gilt buttons, and gilt-edged breeches with blue, yellow and manganese stripes, carrying a large box on a strap over his shoulder, 16.5cm high, impressed fleur-de-lys mark (chips to hat, section of box strap missing)
