A Doccia gilt-metal-mounted rectangular armorial snuffbox, circa 1760

The box moulded with flowers and leaves tied with a bow, heightened in enamels, against a moulded shell-like ground, the cover moulded with flowers and leaves tied with a ribbon, the inside cover with the crowned arms of the Marquis Gino Pasquale Capponi flanked by scrollwork and flowers, 7.2cm by 5.5cm (cover restored, minor wear to enamels)
