A scarce history of the Argenti families of Chios, together with a nineteenth century Greek Book of Hours bound for John Stephanovic Schilizzi (1840-1908), with his name on the clasp. The Schilizzi family stockbroking business traded in Chios and Constantinople until the 1920s, but after the destruction of Chios established offices abroad including London and Liverpool. John Stephanovic's grandaughter, Helene, was married to Philip Argenti, author of the The History of the Argenti of Chios.
