Movement: 17-jewel Cal.281 manual wind, No.178476
Dial: Brushed silvered, Arabic numerals, black outer 1/5th second divisions with Arabic numeral 5 minute markers, black outer tachymetre scale, guilloche engraved subsidiary dials at 3 and 6 for seconds and 45 minute recording, blued steel baton hands, centre chronograph hand
Case: Brushed and polished round, screw down back, crown flanked by twin pushers, No.874865
Strap/Bracelet: Associated brown lizard leather
Buckle/Clasp: Stainless steel buckle

Universal Geneve introduced the Uni-Compax model in the 1940s. Throughout the 1940s and 50s, Universal Geneve produced many different references featuring the Uni-Compax name. These watches varied in size, shape and material. More affordable than the Compax or Tri-Compax, the Uni Compax was a watch that could appeal to the masses.
