Provenance
These were commissioned by fashion designer Peter Golding to decorate the interior of his flagship 'Ace' shop in London's King's Road. Textile artist John Jones became known in the 1970s for his spectacular leather 'walking picture coats'. His Akhnaton coat, finished in 1976, was acquired by the V&A in 1989.
