Private Collection, U.K.
The present lot and lot number 78 were acquired by the family of the present owner for Roundwood House, Harefield, in Middlesex. The house was designed by Keith Roberts in 1956, and the then up-and-coming designer Terence Conran was commissioned to design the kitchen. An architect's drawing of the house was featured in Leslie Jackson's book The New Look: Design in the Fifties, published by Thames & Hudson to accompany the exhibition at Manchester City Art Gallery in 1991 and then Glasgow Art Gallery in 1992.
