A James II miniature silver flat iron
maker slightly mistruck, almost certainly by George Manjoy, London 1688
The arched body of shallow, hollow form with hinged end panel, the upper surface with simple punched border and applied with angular handle length 2cm, height 3.2cm, and two early 18th century miniature trivets, one by David Clayton, London, the other by John Le Sage, London, each of flat flaring form, with seven bars on four feet and with extended shaped and pierced handle, lengths 9cm & 10cm. (3)
