Star Ruby, Diamond and Platinum Ring

Centering on an oval cabochon star ruby with a stated weight of over fifty carats, measuring 22.20 x 16.30 x 10.76mm, of slight pinkish-red hue, featuring a strong, central six-rayed star at the apex of the dome, mounted in a substantial hand-made platinum setting with fluted decoration enhanced with four gypsy-set oval-cut diamonds with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, size 9 1/2.
