Suite of Fancy-colored Moonstones with Cat's Eye or Star Effects

This large suite of multi-color moonstones would create an unusual necklace or suite of jewelry. Comprising both oval and circular moonstones in a range of hues such as orange, grey, tan, brown, apricot and peach some of which have a glassy transparency and others more milky body colors, the majority of which have both a cat's eye effect in addition to the adularescent effect. The grey moonstone with the carved face (a gemological pun on the "man in the moon", weighing approximately 24 carats and measuring 19.04 x 9.98mm; the smallest moonstone of apricot color, weighing approximately 8.53 carats measuring 13.43 x 12.23 x 7.40mm; and the largest moonstone, of taupe color, having a four-rayed star, weighing approximately 96.52 carats and measuring 29.36 x 26.6 x 17.28mm. Total weight approximately 768 carats (23)
