When Rolex launched Ref. 116520 with its first in-house chronograph movement 4130 in 2000, the brand also introduced gold variants of the Cosmograph Daytona, and for the first time with various dial materials. Such watches are referenced in 116519, the dials ranged from hardstones, mother of pearl, and even meteorite. Four variants of this particular reference are nicknamed "Daytona Beach" due to their colourful dials. The four Daytona Beach models are- blue and green dials made of jade; and pink and yellow made of mother of pearl. The present watch is a Ref. 116519 Daytona Beach with pink mother of pearl dial, fit with the original pink lizard leather strap which perfectly matches its dial colour. With all of its accessories, this timepiece is of incredible value for discerning collectors.
