The present EXPLORER II features the highly sought after "rail" configuration and an originally white but changed to a charming ivory-coloured dial over time.

The name "Rail" dial is derived from the vertical separation of the two lines below the centre: "Superlative" and "Officially" to the left, and "Chronometer" and "Certified" to the right.
