The Ref. 6265, together with its sister reference 6263, is the last generation of manual winding Cosmograph Daytona. Fitted with column wheel movement Cal. 727, Ref. 6265 was in production from the late 1960s to around 1987. Amongst all the Ref. 6265 produced, there was a relatively more exclusive variation, often referred to as "ROC". As the watch offered here, the "ROC" dial only bears the words Rolex Oyster Cosmograph. Allegedly, the so-called "ROC" printing was only produced in the very early batch of Ref. 6263 and Ref. 6265. The rarity of the present watch is furthermore enhanced by the lack of the Daytona text above the sub-dial at 6 o'clock. It was nicely preserved with very minor signs of use. It represents the rare opportunity to acquire a highly desirable model.
