incorporating French early 18th century Boulle marquetry panels
Circa 1835, of breakfront outline, the later ebonised top above an acanthus frieze mount, over a pair of central panelled doors each mounted with overlapping disc and sun-flowerhead angles, each panel inlaid premiere partie with scrolled foliage, acanthus, husks and a central rosette, enclosing one later adjustable shelf, flanked by two glazed panelled doors with conforming mounts, with fluted angles each headed by a foliate, gadroon, scroll and entrelac cast espagnolette mount of a classical female with a feather headdress, each end with a contrepartie Boulle marquetry panel, on a shaped plinth base, with a fielded triple-panelled back, 230cm wide x 60cm deep x 119cm high, (90 1/2in wide x 23 1/2in deep x 46 1/2in high)
