A French late 19th century ormolu mounted tulipwood, amaranth and 'bois de bout' (end-cut) marquetry serpentine commode

The marble top with a moulded edge, above two long oak-lined drawers inlaid sans traverse with assorted flowers within three sans traverse shaped and scrolled cartouche mounts cast with acanthus foliage, flowers and rocaille, with a quarter veneered central cartouche and conforming quarter veneered sides, on foliate scrolled sabots, stamped: '3368', restoration to the marble top 147cm wide x 61cm deep x 90cm high, (57 1/2in wide x 24in deep x 35in high)
