于非闇 富貴壽喜圖 設色絹本 立軸 一九四八年作

註:上世紀四十年代中後期,于非闇的工筆重彩花鳥步入成熟階段,真正形成獨樹一幟的面貌。是幅〈富貴壽喜〉作於一九四八年,題識中 「余曾寫是圖」乃指一九三八年繪本,為「擬趙昌筆」。于非闇在《我怎樣畫工筆花鳥畫》裏,論及曾研究過的古典花鳥作品,北宋花鳥畫家趙昌的〈四喜圖〉(今藏於臺北故宮博物院)即名列其中。于非闇受其影響至深,此作立意佈局即藉鑒〈四喜圖〉,而内容更為豐富。「重繪此圖以自賞」,可見這是畫家至為滿意的自留之作。
畫面佈局飽滿而嚴謹:玉蘭海棠花枝、太湖石與坡地將畫面分爲三段,又各自形成環圍制衡之勢,枝頭喜鵲、石上喜鵲、錦鷄遙相呼應,太湖石主體的繁密與天地處的疏朗,太湖石、牡丹、錦鷄色彩的濃烈,與喜鵲、玉蘭、海棠的素淨,於對比呼應中達到妥帖地平衡。繁茂的玉蘭海棠、灼灼盛放的牡丹、靈動的鳥雀以及點綴的雛菊、蕨草,張揚著生命的力量,熱烈非凡,交織成一曲濃重的春日交響。
本幅構圖與一九三八年本保持一致,惟繪於絹本上。于非闇作畫用材考究,絹喜圓絲生絹,認爲絹本作花鳥,可以兩面著色,互相襯托,色彩更經久不變,這是紙本遠達不到的。敷色較此前更爲濃鬱厚重,太湖石,花葉等陰陽向背的過渡愈發微妙自然,喜鵲、錦雞羽毛開絲細膩,精謹的筆墨之間,浮動著雍容典雅之氣,顯然是對緙絲效果的追求。
自一九四三年開始,于非闇日間加强寫生,將綫條功力錘煉地益發扎實,以頓挫筆綫勾太湖石,婉轉綫條寫葉瓣,根據物象特點運筆,具有「應物象形」的準確性,使畫面愈顯靈動。
于非闇工筆花鳥的題材從傳統緙絲中亦得益良多,將牡丹、玉蘭、海棠、喜鵲、錦鷄、太湖石等象徵富貴、喜慶、長壽的物象共聚一堂,寓意吉祥美好,雅俗共賞。
