Royal North British Fusiliers Interest: A William IV silver table snuff box

Rectangular, the cover with a central engraved presentation inscription, dated 1859, within a relief border of musical trophies, engine-turned sides and base, height 11cm, weight 14oz.

Footnotes

The presentation inscription reads: "Presented by the Colonel Lord Forbes and the Officers of the 21st or Royal North British Fusiliers to Mr Angus McLeod, master of their band on his Retirement - as a mark of their high sense of his Character & Conduct during his long & faithful services in the Regiment."
