Literature:
Camille Leprince, Napoléon Ier & la Manufacture de Sèvres (2016), p. 243

A service with fond écaille and figures from the Antique was delivered to the Tuileries palace in December 1804 for Napoleon's use, of which some are now in the collection of the château de Fontainebleau. An earlier service à 'fond écaille' was given to the Earl of Liverpool, the English Secretary for Foreign Affairs, in 1802, now on view in the dining room at Lyme Park, Cheshire.
