No. 229, with 50mm f3.5 Anastigmat lens, this early Leica has all the features that one would expect including non-dimpled mushroom release, flat eyepiece, low profile knobs, early grained vulcanite covering, R lever with black tip, lens barrel lines match up with lines on the barrel, baseplate with early catch, in early leather pouch stamped Leitz inside and with nickel catch
