A pair of embellished rectangular lacquer plaques

Each rectangular panel finely inlaid with carved jade and hardstone, one plaque depicting scholars and attendants congregating amidst rockwork and flowering branches; the second plaque depicting figures and animals along a riverscape, both inlaid in bone with four-character inscription and enclosed by hardwood frame.
