A blue and white 'birds and flowers' vase

Transitional period/Kangxi period
Of slender baluster form, painted all around with tree branches sweeping across the composition issuing a variety of leaves and blossoms, one bird perched on a branch and another soaring nearby, shoots of bamboo and fluttering insects further enlivening the scene, all between incised decorative bands at the foot and shoulder, the neck with a band of pendent leaves.
