A turquoise-ground famille-rose bowl
Dayazhai mark, Republic period
The deep rounded sides rising to a gently everted scalloped rim, a blossoming wisteria vine winding around the exterior bearing clusters of purple blossoms dangling above pink peonies, a bird perched on the trunk near the phrase Dayazhai and a seal reading Tiandi yijia chun both in iron red, all reserved against a turquoise ground, the base with a four-character mark reading Yongqing changchun in iron red within a reserved cartouche.
