A large and rare Meissen pale-blue ground pâte-sur-pâte vase, late 19th century

Finely painted and tooled in white slip with two putti holding a flaming torch and another on the reverse playing a tambourine, the reserves edged with foliate scrollwork and trailing flowers against a salmon-pink ground with gilt trellis and peacock-feather panels and raised gilt and enamel scrollwork and flowers, the footrim further reserved with a dark-blue shaped panel with gilt trellis pattern, 52cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, indistinct impressed mark 0160 (?), impressed (135/55 221/55) and 20 (drilled through the base)
