A Sinceny or Rouen faience dish with chinoiserie figures, circa 1740
Decorated with a chinoiserie scene of two figures in a landscape surrounded by flowering bushes, several buildings in the distance, insects and a dragon in flight overhead, the shaped rim with an iron-red line border, 39.8cm diam., S. or P. in blue (typical flat chip and minor glaze losses to rim)
