A Meissen figure of a boy with a chicken, circa 1763-74

Wearing a yellow bicorn hat, a purple jacket with purple foliate pattern and turquoise trousers, holding a chicken in one arm and a walking stick in the other, the base moulded with gilt-edged scrollwork and applied with leaves and flowers, 14.8cm high, crossed swords mark and dot in underglaze-blue to the rear of the base, impressed 2 (head restuck)
