A Meissen 'Cris de Paris' figure of a fish seller, circa 1755

Modelled by Peter Reinicke, wearing a white headscarf, yellow bodice and floral skirt with white apron, her hands on her hips and a tray with fish strapped around her waist, the base moulded with gilt-edged scrollwork and applied with leaves, 13.5cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to rear of base, impressed 13 (minor chips)
