A Meissen octagonal double-handled beaker and saucer, circa 1730

Painted in Kakiemon style with the "Quail" pattern, brown-edged rims, the saucer: 23.3cm wide, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue (saucer) and blue enamel (cup), incised Japanese Palace inventory numbers N=346-/W (cup with restored sections) (2)
